What one sees. At first glance, one might see a small, almost dainty Raen with pale skin and long, auburn hair in a braid over her shoulder, ivory horns shimmering in the sunlight, a basket full of freshly plucked herbs and fruit on their back, a sturdy walking staff in hand with flowers and vines curling around it, almost encasing the glowing crystal atop the staff. Looking closer, it becomes apparent that Moriko is no stranger to physical labor. Wiry muscles that speak of endurance and hands stained with colors of the earth as well worn leather boots, covered with dust and mud. More often than not they can be seen accompanied by a chocobo with heavy saddle bags, happily chirping and trotting alongside Moriko - Tori, they call him.

Born and raised in Kugane, Moriko studied herbal remedies as well as the stars from a young age, under the watchful guidance of her mother and grandmother. Making their way overseas after learning about the threat of voidsent and the endeavor of making the Twelveswood safer, they settle down in a small cottage on the outskirts of town, a weathered wooden sign above the doorframe reading 'Miss Moriko's Potion & Herbal Shop'.Their potions are known for their potent effects and impeccable craftsmanship, making Moriko a sought-after specialist for everyone, not just budding adventurers. Beyond that, they offer healing and protective spells through astromancy as well as divination - if one is prepared to glance what the future might hold.

Walking staff. A sturdy, gnarled wooden staff with white flowers and vines and a glowing crystal on top. Moriko never leaves home without it and will use it to walk, to cast spells or simply to fend off critters trying to nip her heels.

Plum blossom corsage. A decorative hair piece from Moriko's grandmother. A parting gift, enchanted to be eternally blooming with protective spells woven into the ribbons.

Potionsmith. Miss Moriko is a skilled alchemist who imbues a touch of healing magic into every concoction she creates. With a keen eye for rare ingredients and a deep understanding of the properties the plants they use possess, they brew potions that bring relief, salves that promise quick healing and all kinds of other concoctions for versatile use. Their creations can be bought or traded for at their shop on the outskirts of Gridania or if you encounter them on the road; Moriko usually carries a small supply in the saddle bags of her chocobo.
